Even though it seems that
this is a very long sound map, it was a lot of little blips and
chirps all over the place. I liked how this film began. It started
with some nice ambience of being underwater. But what made it so well
mixed was not only was it realistic, it was being panned from left to
right. This makes it seem the the listener is really underwater and
also that water never stays still, especially if two live animals
were in it. The music for this piece was a nice choice. It was
violins. And the music changed according to what was going on on the
screen. At times it seemed that the music could have come down a bit
but for the most part it was nice. The sound effects were the key in
this movie, in my opinion. They really made the whole movie what it
is. There were a whole lot of little sound effects throughout the
whole movie. They had to be louder than the music, which I stated was
a little too loud at times, so the sound effects had to really pop.
There were times during the movie where I had to turn it down because
a sound effect was actually hurting my hears. The change in ambience,
with the change in music really made it feel like you were in the
story. The music and sound effects could have come down. Other than
that, I really liked how this was mixed, and its a great, funny
little story.
