This song is in 4/4 meter.

The song is pretty well mixed. It does seem very airy though because a lot of tracks have reverb and delays on them. The song starts off with just one Acoustic guitar that was mic'd with two mics, and it sound pretty good. A little reverb was thrown in to give the guitar some body and width. As the song progresses, more and more instruments join in. There is an electric guitar in the back that just gives off a feedback sound that sounds really cool within the whole song. The banjo is a major part of the band, and a huge part of this song. In some parts it is the loudest portion then in others, it is tucked under some other instruments. Also it gets panned a little from left to right. The vocal track was just one single track that had prints underneath it. There was some compression and reverb added to it. The backing vocals were tucked behind the main vocals just to add more body and feeling to the song. By themselves, they sound awful. But in the context of the song, it gives it character. The piano comes in sporadically throughout the song. Nothing much to that, its panned a little more to the left than the right. There is bass in the song, its very hard to hear but there is. There is some compression on the bass , and also, there were multiple bass tracks to give the bass its crunchy feel. There is one kick drum in the song, and I find that very unique. The drum is booming when it is hit, but just like the piano, comes in sporadically, or when the song picks up, I.e, chorus.
