As I said in class, I'm going to mix something given to me by Jordan Lally, who was kind enough to help me out with my internship for CCBC (he own's a studio).
His band is called Fiction 20 Down, and they are kind of like.....pop reggae. I'm not exactly sure which song I'm going to be mixing, as I have not met with him to pick one yet, but I will be doing that early next week and will let you guys know ASAP. I plan on mixing it in 5.1....I'm not sure why...just something to mess with I guess.
As for studio availability and 006 time, I plan on being in there only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have an opening between noon and 6:30 on Tues, and am free after noon on Thurs. Obviously I can't be in there that whole time, but that's what I'm thinking for now...
Ben, if you have figured out which song you are going to mix - could you post that here. And your reference track(s).
