Notes: The first thing that I noticed for this
song was that the bass guitar is very noticeable and clear throughout the whole
song and was as loud as the guitar.
The piano and bass guitar work really well together in this song. The vocals are the loudest component of
the song but it doesn’t stand out too much, and it isn’t taking away attention
from the other instruments like the piano. During the bridge, the back-up vocals are as loud as the
main vocals and then brought back down for the rest of the song. It sounds like the drums used multiple
mics to record since the sound of drums on each side carry different
sounds. The piano is well
distinguished and even though the levels are close together for most of the
instruments, the piano stands out for the whole song.
